Hi and welcome to my website. I'm Julie-Ann...or Julie to some people - I like the variety. I'm from all over; born in Yorkshire, brought up in Gloucester, family are from Wales and I live in Coventry (all of which has given me a surprisingly RP neutral accent!).

I have been a professional voice over artist for 15 years. I nervously stepped behind a microphone at the tender age of 16 to voice a character in a BBC children's programme called 'The Little Vampire'...and I haven't looked back since.

By this time I was already a veteran actress (well, in the 'am-dram' world anyway)  I was constantly in at least one play with various local groups and attended Gloucester Academy of Music and Performing Arts on Saturdays.

I continued to get paid for doing silly voices for various characters in animations throughout my late teens and early twenties. Then I went to Gloucestershire University to acquire a BA Hons degree in Professional Media, in which I developed the skill of editing (as well as other things) and this has made me very nifty with my current editing software. Then I moved to Cardiff to train and work as an actress.

Now I live and work in the Midlands with my gorgeous and ever patient husband (Mike), and my gorgeous and ever sleeping bassett hound (Columbo). Although at home in my little recording booth most days, I do look forward to the occasional outing and so if you want me to do some acting work or a voice over job somewhere else - I'm happy to leave my little abode. I have transport and as I live so central, can get most places quite quickly. And I don't mind travelling; if you need me to get to a shoot alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in LA, you can be certain I will be there!
